Methodology & Evidence Limits
Sources & Timing
We use regulatory filings, primary research, and materials from companies and their partners. Company disclosures are not independent verification. Records retain source dates and links; an undated website does not establish current program status. Company profiles document sources and entity scope by field, and conflicting founding dates are not forced into a single date.
Evidence Levels
E1: Approval for a specified indication and jurisdiction. E2: Public human data; review the data type and quality separately. E3: IND, trial registration, or a disclosed clinical trial start; this does not establish efficacy in humans. E4: Preclinical, platform-level, or limited information. These levels do not rate service provider quality.
Classification & Comparison
Product developers, service providers, and hybrid companies are research classifications. Technology approaches may overlap; company counts, partnership mappings, and unique molecule counts are not interchangeable. PK, DC50, Dmax, and clinical endpoints from different systems cannot be ranked directly. Financing amounts do not establish technical quality. Individual rounds, cumulative funding, debt, grants, licensing transactions, and acquisition consideration are assessed separately; currencies are not converted.
Research Scope
Coverage includes major regions, but public-source research cannot establish exhaustive global coverage. Undisclosed information, indexing gaps, and later changes may be missed. Research landscapes are manually maintained snapshots; news channels are researched and published automatically on a schedule. The China-listed topic includes core and diversified companies with evidence of commercial third-party CRO/CDMO services and deduplicates A/H dual listings; stock-market theme labels alone do not qualify a company. Financial figures use the stated reporting periods and consolidated scope. Group revenue does not represent a single outsourcing business.
